Cumberland Valley football played against State College at the Penn State University. The football team was feeling a bunch of mixed emotions going into the game, and took a loss of 33-21 to State College after a 14-7 lead going into halftime.

There hasn't been a high school team that played at Beaver Stadium since 1988. This rare opportunity for the football team was a surreal experience, and that goes the same for the almost 6,000 fans in attendance.

Senior center and defensive tackle Connor Mundis said, "Honestly, it was a crazy experience to live, just because out of all my years of football, I've never played in front of so many fans or played in such a massive stadium."

The boys are extremely excited to take this one of a lifetime experience and go into the playoffs with a fresh mindset. They are very eager for this game coming up, because they didn't get to go to the playoffs last year.

"It's week one of postseason. We have Manheim Township this week. We are obviously really excited and very nervous because they are a top five team in the state and they are undefeated. But I think we can bring some heat that they haven't seen all year," senior Jake Nguyen said.

"We just have to work harder than ever because I think it's hitting everyone now that this Friday could be the last time that we put on helmets and pads. I didn't get this mohawk for nothing."
