The Eagles are coming off one of their best seasons in recent history, ending in a first round exit from the state tournament. The team only returns six of the 14 players from last year's squad. Senior Harris Vorwald and junior Ben Drury will lead the way for the Eagles this year as they look to surprise the league.

Vorwald said, “I feel good with how things have looked so far, we are a pretty inexperienced team but we've all played the game our whole life so it's not a concern to me”.

The team wasted no time preparing for the season ahead of them. Just a few weeks after their loss in states, the team started up open gyms three times a week all spring. In early April, a few players won the Pizza Hut Mid-Atlantic tournament. In June, the team packed up and went to the Eastern Ohio team camp. They spent the weekend their and after playing 36 games, they ended up losing in the finals.

Once school started they moved to open gyms every day, and several tournaments on Saturdays. Their most recent tournament was the Colt shootout at Cedar Cliff. They defeated Red Land in the first round, but then lost to Central York in the quarterfinals. That took them to the consolation bracket where they beat Cedar Crest, and then Central Dauphin. The Eagles open up their season at the Hershey tipoff tournament on December 6th and 7th. Their first regular season game is on December 10th at home vs. Harrisburg.
