Black Ops 4 debuted October 12, 2018 as the most highly anticipated game since PUBG. The new Black Ops game does not just come with better graphics and different story lines, but brand new features a new game mode that is battle royale style, called Blackout, the game is the first Call of Duty to not feature a narrative campaign mode, and there are also multiple new cosmetics and maps to play on within the game.

Black Ops 4 was made to compete with all of the other games that have taken the world by storm right now. They added the new Blackout to compete with Fortnite and PUBG. With this mode comes new skins (cosmetics) that players can purchase and new weapons that can be used in game.

Also Treyarch decided to bring back in old guns from the original Black Ops games and this is a huge plus because people really enjoy.

Junior Logan Ramper said, “I think that is is really cool that they brought back guns from the original games.”

Also there are new maps in a returning game mode “Zombies.” The maps given with the standard version of the game are as follows: IX, Voyage of Despair, and Blood of the Dead.

But there are other maps players can buy that don’t come with the standard game that have not been leaked yet, so the names and looks of those maps are to be determined. But also within the ZOMBIES game mode are new ways to play the zombie maps called Custom Mutations.

This allows the game to be more interesting while playing with friends and adds a new dynamic to the game to make it more enjoyable and sets it apart from other NEW games.
