With CV Mini-THON right around the corner, elementary school Mini-Mini THONS come to aclose. This year, all seven elementary schools participated in the year-long fundraiser towards Four Diamonds.

“Mini-Mini Thons have gone great in my opinion, they all ran smoothly and all schools rockedtheir totals...it is a great way for the kids to get to know why we do what we do,” FoodCommittee Chair Alexa Nicholson said.

Throughout the day, kids have the opportunity to go to various stations that incorporate what Four Diamonds stands for. These stations include: dance, games, arts and crafts, and a skit that committee members/leadership perform. The kids feel included in the cause that the Cumberland Valley community is contributing to, and get to learn why the school participates. Green Ridge will be the last Mini-Mini Thon of the school year on March 2nd.
Since Mini-Thon is less than a month away, leadership’s responsibilities are heating up.

Committee members and chairs have been soliciting for donations and getting the word out about the cause. Leadership has been busy coordinating eventsfor the night of, planning fundraisers, and making sure committee members know their role. A huge event coming up is the annual Man-Pageant on February 22nd.
