Pennsy Supply finishes up the details on Sample Bridge Road
Good news for everyone. Silver Spring Township announced that the entire Sample Bridge Road will open at 4:00 PM Wednesday 11/23.
Silver Spring Township and other business partners are finished the expansion and reconstruction of Sample Bridge Road. Construction began June 10, 2022 and was projected to finish in October 2022, but delays pushed the date to today.
Since the start of construction, the road has been paved, leveled, painted, and expanded. A sidewalk has been created on the side for pedestrians. The forest and grass on the hill has been completely wiped out and been replaced with new trees and grass.
This construction has had a huge effect on student drivers, parents, and other Cumberland Valley employees who use this road multiple times a day to travel to and from local schools.
The reopening of this road will make life much easier than before. Many citizens won’t have to wake up earlier to take longer routes and waste more gas than needed. It will make it much more convenient for people to travel to stores, schools, jobs, restaurants, and more.
