Cumberland Valley High School offers a number of clubs that help create an opportunity for students to get engaged in extracurricular activities. Club leaders are looking to recruit new members for the upcoming year.
Patriots Club continues its mission to honor local veterans. Club president Maya Sekhar Sekahr explained the Patriots Club objective: “Patriots Club works to support and honor local veterans from any branch of military they have served our country. Our club is a way to give back and show appreciation for their service.”
While Patriots club doesn'tdosen’t yet have official meeting days, they predict to meet twice a month leading up to their annual Veterans appreciation on November 8th. After the event they plan on meeting once a month. All new members are encouraged and welcome to join. Photography Club highlights a passion in photo media Club president Aratrika Chakrabarti said Photography Club aims, “To provide a community for people of all skill levels to explore photography, gain/improve their skills, and showcase their work to a wider audience.”
Photography Club meets once a month during nest, with their first meeting date to be determined. Students interested in becoming part of Photography Club can reach out to Mr. Bollinger (

The Golden Years Club works to create a cheerful environment for elders in nursing homes. Club Vice President Meredith Mantione says, “Our objective is to end loneliness among the elderly and overall just help make them smile.” The Golden Years club meets on the second Thursday of each month. New members can join by going to their first meeting on September 14th in room 262.
