Joker Movie Review

Joker is one of the most controversial and talked about movies of the year. This is because of all the hints towards mental illness throughout the film. Even though most critics are downing the movie based off of the story line and the way that the joker is portrayed with his issues, I thought it was a good movie that explained what his life was like and what caused him to become crazy and become “the Joker.” The movie was about two hours and 15 minutes, and throughout the movie I was never bored or tired of watching it. It kept me hooked and wondering what was going to happen next.

I felt that the storyline was very realistic and believable through the entire movie. It seemed like a true story and like something that could happen in the real world. The cast and background movie was great. It made it really seem real and told his story flawlessly. The movie was very compelling and really brought emotion to the theater and the people watching. There were many parts in the film that were emotionally touching and very interesting in the movie. I believe though that the critics were a bit harsh on the film from the standpoint of how the movie was “depressing” or “disturbing.”

The movie definitely had a message, but it was not to bring people to a life of crime like most are saying it would. It does not want to make anyone want to commit crimes anymore than they want to in the first place. In conclusion I believe that the movie was really good and if you are on the fence about seeing it or are just looking for a good movie to check out, Joker is the perfect movie for you.
