Cumberland Valley Cheerleaders Visit Jubilee Cake Studio

Following the celebration of Valentines Day, members of the Cumberland Valley varsity cheerleading team came together at Jubilee Cake Studio, which recently opened on the Carlisle Pike in December of 2020.
Junior Hannah Watts said, “It was a team bonding thing for the juniors on the varsity cheer team and to celebrate Valentine's Day with the girls.”
“My favorite part was just being able to spend time with my teammates and try something new,” Watts said.
Under the conditions of COVID-19, the studio welcomes parties of all ages to try out their various workshops and decorating activities. It is a new tourist attraction that could be a fun destination for students, especially those interested in baking.
Watts said, “We all made hot chocolate bombs for Valentine's Day and went through the whole process of creating them with the chocolate and decorations. We then also exchanged small Valentine's Day gifts and each wrote one small note to another person.”
“We specifically made the hot chocolate balls with hot cocoa powder, some candy, and marshmallows inside. Three of them are pink and the other three were milk chocolate," Watts said.
The new studio is located at 05 Gateway Dr, Mechanicsburg, PA, next to T.J. Maxx and Sky Zone. It is a spacious building that is sure to catch the eye of anyone passing by.
Watts said, “It was very cute inside the cake studio and there were lots of vibrant colors and fun decorations that made the environment feel happy.”
The cheer team only had positive remarks to be made regarding their experience at Jubilee Cake Studio and particularly noted the excellency of the staff.
“I would have rated it five stars because it was a lot of fun and the employees were so sweet… and so helpful throughout the whole process,” said Watts.
