Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a breathtaking action Marvel movie directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and starring the new hot movie star Simu Liu. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings already broke the Labor Day box office record with a $71.4 million debut according to National Public Radio.

The visual and special effects in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings were very mesmerizing. The mystical weapons used in the magic forest gave off dazzling colors and beams of light. The ten rings have bursting energy coming from them changing from blue to red. Marvel's visual in this movie is one of the best I've seen since Avengers: End Game.

Marvel’s new superhero is a martial art master, Shang- chi. He was trained by his father from a young age. He didn't have the best childhood growing up and his mother died. When he was 14, Shang-Chi’s father sent him on an impossible mission for any son, and he ran away to Chicago and changed his name to Shaun. The legend of the ten rings is a mystical weapon Shang-Chi’s dad used to use but gave them up for his family. Years later Shang-Chi then is attached. He then reunites with his father and must battle over the rings that give power and immortality.

I loved this movie due to the funny actors and the action. This movie brings the spotlight to an Asian superhero which there is not a lot of. I would recommend this movie to any superhero lover or anyone who loves a movie with great special effects and action.
