Wreaths for a Reason in Strawberry Square in Harrisburg. This event aims at ending homelessness. The profit will be donated to Shalom House, which provides temporary shelter for women and children.

Grandson of President Harry S. Truman and Hiroshima Bombing Survivor speech in Middletown: At noon at the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre at Penn State Harrisburg, Sasamori will share her account as an atomic bomb survivor and Truman Daniel will discuss nuclear warfare.

Art for the Holidays in Carlisle. The Harrisburg Camera Club will exhibit, along with an open house reception.

Breakfast and Photos with Santa at Hershey’s Chocolate World: Enjoy a morning at Hershey’s Chocolate World. Your Ticket includes a breakfast buffet, portrait with Santa, gift from Santa, cookie decorating station, candy machine, Hershey’s Characters, and a 4D show. Hersheypark Christmas Candy Lane: The park will be open from 12 pm until 10 pm and ZooAmerica will be open from 10 AM until 4:30 PM. Over 4 million lights decorate the park, and a choreographed light show is provided.

Christmas in November Author Event at Mechanicsburg Mystery Bookshop: The day includes sales on books and opportunities to meet authors and get signatures. The authors that will be there are: Bruce Mowday, Dennis Royer, Mary Walsh, and Robert Walton.

Hershey Sweet Lights on Hershey Road: About 600 animated displays of christmas lights entertain you as you drive through a two mile path. Dedication Day of Battle of Gettysburg: The David Wills House will have an open house and the Lincoln Railroad Station will be open. There will be programs to commemorate President Lincoln and the soldiers at Gettysburg.

Gingerbread House Display at Whitaker Center: The contest winners will be announced on this night. Spectators can observe the display and get in the Holiday spirit.

Mansion Holiday Decorating at Kings Gap State Park: Individuals, Non-profit and civic groups are welcome to get into the holiday spirit by decorating.

Harrisburg Holiday Parade: There will be musical acts, floats, parade balloons, and food vendors in downtown Harrisburg. This event is free and over 10,000 people attend it each year. Christmas festival at St Joseph's Church in Mechanicsburg: there will be children’s games, food, a bake sale, a silent auction, and musical performances.

Candy Cane Walk in Downtown Camp Hill: Over 20 businesses in Camp Hill will provide a wonderful experience with refreshments and music.

Millersville Turkey Trot 5K at Millersville University: This race at the University benefits the area’s running programs and is a good way to stay active on the holiday.

Wreath Workshop at Wildwood Park in Harrisburg: Make an evergreen wreath out of natural materials. Use cones, berries, nuts and seeds to make holiday-festive wreaths.
