New Year’s Resolutions are a common tradition of forming new goals at the beginning of each year. It may be a personal goal, wanting to continue good practices, or improvements in weak areas. The turn of the calendar brings the opportunity to reflect and enhance.

After a different and difficult year in 2020, there are many ways to gain a fresh start in 2021. The top resolutions recorded for this year of 2021 include the desire to exercise more often, healthier eating habits, weight loss, saving money, and quitting bad habits.

Junior Cami Palmer said, “My New Year’s Resolution is to walk my dog more often or every day if I can. This not only benefits me by getting outside and taking long walks but benefits him tremendously.”

Junior Lauren Chang said, “My New Year’s Resolution this upcoming year is to focus on better time management and self-growth with the hopes of achieving my future aspirations.”

Junior Karmen Anselmo said, “My New Year’s Resolution is to stay on top of working out and going to bed earlier.”
