The cast for the 2020 Spring Musical,
Cinderella, has been chosen. The revival of the Musical is very different than the classic movie, with new songs, cool choreography, and amazing special effects.
Musical Director Mrs. Jennifer Schramm said she is most excited about “presenting a new take on Cinderella,” because it is a revival from the 2013 Broadway musical. Senior Grace Smith (Cinderella) is most excited about “the waltz scene, because the costumes are going to be amazing and we have gigantic ball gowns.”
With every success there is hardship, and the directors and actors need to work hard to pull off this amazing musical.
“The costumes and set are very extravagant this year, so there is a lot of special effects that will need to be worked out and designed in order to make certain magic happen,” Smith said.
The dances may be complicated with the costumes for the actors, as well as the special effects.
For those who may want to audition next season, it is greatly encouraged by past cast members.
“The most important thing for me was just to enjoy the audition process,” Smith said.
Being involved in the musical strikes new interests and new friendships.
Tickets go on sale in early in 2020.
