CVGS Senior Night

Girls Soccer Senior Night was Wednesday September 29 at Bobby Rahal Field. We had the opportunity to interview seniors KK Ball and captain Lauren Chang. We asked them the following questions: What are your favorite memories from CVGS over the years? What are you most excited for on senior night?
“One of my favorite memories was when we won the district championship junior year at our home field,” KK Ball says.
“I think I’m most excited for celebrating us seniors, I think we’ve had to overcome a lot of adversity like losing all our seniors from last year and covid” Lauren Chang says.
Losing seniors and overcoming COVID has been difficult for this team. They now play for so much more than a win. They play for each other, and for the seniors that didn’t get to play before. This is the moment that they’ve been looking forward to since freshman year, having the opportunity to celebrate their last season of soccer at Cumberland Valley.
