One of the favorite places for high schoolers to go to get coffee or a refreshing drink is of course, Starbucks. At Starbucks there are always seasonal drinks which are all the rage. According to most baristas, the most popular drink in the fall season is the pumpkin spice latte. No surprise there. But here are the the top 5 fall drinks at Starbucks according to a poll taken by CV students:

Caramel Apple Spice
Classic Chai Tea Latte
Triple Mocha Frappuccino
Salted Caramel Mocha
Pink Drink

Sometimes people don’t feel like drinking a caffeinated drink, but still want something to quench their thirst. The Caramel Apple Spice drink is a non caffeinated beverage with steamed apple juice. It comes with caramel drizzle, whipped cream, and cinnamon dolce syrup. Many students enjoy the cider because it reminds them of fall festivals and hayrides. This would be great on a cold day.

Imagine a warm drink with a bit of spice during the fall season. The Classic Chai Latte is just that. It includes spiced black tea and steamed milk. This caffeinated drink is very well known compared to most drinks on the menu. If students prefer something with more kick, go for The Teavana Oprah Cinnamon Chai Tea Latte. It is just a different version of the classic. It is a less sweet and more spicy version.

The Triple Mocha Frappuccino is liked so much because of all the layers of goodness. It comes with a rich chocolate mocha coating on it, perfect for chocolate lovers. Warning, it comes very sweet.

“So sweet I could get diabetes in one sip,” an anonymous student jokingly said.

When the Salted Caramel Mocha is brought up, many people get eager to share how much they love it. This artsy drink is good for people with a bit of a sweet tooth. The mocha latte has a special syrup called toffee nut syrup. Although it may sound like it’s made out of nuts, it in fact isn’t. Besides that syrup, the Salted Caramel Mocha has caramel drizzle on top of whipped cream.

“I love the salt that they put on top of the caramel,” sophomore Emma Cantor said.

One of the most famous drinks is of course the Pink Drink. This refresher can be made with any kind of milk desired mixed dehydrated strawberries. The Pink Drink is all year round, but students seem to never stop loving it. The drink is good for any season.

“They’re real good,” sophomore Matea Juric said.

At Starbucks they always make it so the consumer is satisfied. Any of these drinks can be altered and numerous toppings can be added to perfection. With this cold fall season, a nice drink can cheer up the spirits of a student.
