Cumberland Valley High School planned on performing the musical Cinderella last spring but because of circumstances relating to COVID-19, it was postponed.
Stage Crew Director Ms Margret Futato is uncertain about the future of the musical.

“We have little to no answers…We have not even met at this point so I have no info” Futato said.

Most of the sets and costumes have been sitting in the PAC since last spring and plan to stay there until the team comes together and discusses the plans for spring.

Cast member Sophomore Samantha Phamross said,"
“I’m sad about it but I’m trying to stay positive and stay safe. I think it was necessary to postpone it for the safety of others. But of course, I definitely miss everything and everyone because it was always so fun to be at rehearsals and do what you love."

The musical was postponed a month before the opening show. Most of the sets were already built and the ballgown costumes were ready to be worn.

“I am excited about seeing everyone and resuming rehearsals because it’s always so fun to be around such a supportive and fun group,” Phamross said. “I’m excited especially to be a part of a magical production again.”

Little is known about the future concerning COVID-19 so there’s little known about the future plans for the musical.
