March 3rd through the 6th was Cumberland Valley’s Mini-THON Push Weekend. During Push Weekend, students and families donate money to Donor Drive that is then sent to the Four Diamonds Organization. The goal was to raise $12,000 and in return, teachers and staff would participate in different activities.
Students ended up raising $14,812.02.
Here are the commitments that teachers agreed to fulfill at certain donation levels:
$1,000- Mrs. Keller will do a tiktok dance
$3,000- Ms. Uhrich will get pied in the face
$5,000- Mr. Mashinski will dye his hair tips blue
$6,000- Mrs. McVitty will play a life-size Hungry Hungry Hippos game with Mr. Ainscough, Ms. King, Miss Edgerly, Miss Sheaffer, Mr. Bollinger, Mr. Bomboy, and Mr. Danneker
$7,000- Mr. Wilburn, Mr. Stankiewicz, Mr. Labra, Madame Grim, and Miss Butler will sing karaoke songs from different generations at the pep rally
$8,000- Mrs. Miller, Mr. Andrechik, Mrs. Croft, Mr. Robinson, Mr. Martin, and Mrs. Staton will jump in the pool with their clothes on.
$10,000- Mr. Harral will get a psychology tattoo
$12,000- Mr. Mumma will jump off the pool catwalk 40 feet above the pool
