Tall Girl 2 was released on February 11, 2022 on Netflix starring Ava Michelle, Griffin Gluck, and Jan Luis Castellanos.

The movie is about a 6’½” high school girl named Jodi Kreyman who is trying to learn how to deal with her newfound popularity after standing up for herself in the previous movie (Tall Girl). Although she has gained a new sense of confidence from becoming popular, her boyfriend, Dunkleman, feels like she is leaving him in the dust.

During the movie, Jodi begins hearing voices in her head that tell her she isn’t good enough and that she will never really accomplish her dreams. These voices begin to make her anxious about a lot of things in her life, which leads to her and her boyfriend breaking up.

While broken up, a co-star in the school musical expressed his feelings for Jodi, but she can’t seem to get over Dunkleman and begin having feelings for someone else.

Throughout the rest of the movie, Jodi and Dunkleman try to go their separate ways, but realize it’s not as easy as they thought.

Overall, I would give this movie a 6/10. The movie itself was a little quirky and hard to watch at times, but it was still very intriguing. The best part about this movie was the overlying message that girls are capable of loving themselves, despite what other people say. I would recommend this movie to others, but I personally will not be watching it again.
