Even though it is only February, Prom thoughts have been rapidly increasing. Prom is set to take place at the Penn Harris Hotel located in Camp Hill, on May 4,2024.
Since CV only hosts a senior prom, many girls are already on the hunt looking for the perfect dress. Not many Prom dress stores are located in the nearby areas of the Susquehanna Valley, therefore girls searching for dresses must travel to many different locations and stores.
The ultimate question that many Senior girls and even underclassmen are asking is, where is the best place to look for or even purchase prom dresses?
When going around and surveying classmates about their prom dress selections, many Senior girls like Kameron Rase, Alicia So, and Sophia Lisbinski went to XO Formals, at King of Prussia Mall to purchase and try on their dresses.
Lisbinski said, “XO formals had the biggest selection of dresses, and made me feel comfortable that I was picking a dress no one else would have.”
Senior Sarah Qazi and Evalyn Stoner purchased their prom dresses from Renaissance Bridal, which is located in the central city of York.
Stoner said, “The selection of dresses at Renaissance wasn’t huge, but the one and one service was the best part of making me feel the most confident in my dress.”
Other places like J&B Bridals in Chambersburg, and Taylored For You, which is located in Mechanicsburg, are some of the other prominent places to buy prom dresses in the area.
All of these places offer selections of mermaid all the way to ballgown fitted dresses, with a vast majority of sizes and colors. The ride variety of stores in two hours distance also eliminates the possibility of girls getting similar dresses.
Cumberland Valley senior class representatives are also eliminating the possibility of girls showing up to Prom with the same dresses. This account posts dresses that girls send in, with the style number to really make sure girls are staring near getting similar dresses.
Prom is a huge deal for seniors, as it marks the end of the school year and signifies that graduation is near. This is just the start of all the exciting festivities that come along with Prom!
