In September of his junior year, Max Krevsky accepted a 4-year athletic scholarship from the University of Delaware. He knew this school was the right choice because of the distance from home and the strong athletic and academic programs.

“I have been involved in sports for as long as I can remember, and over last fall to this fall, I went to a bunch of recruiting events for lacrosse. The coaches at the University of Delaware saw me play and invited me to an unofficial visit where they made me an offer,” Krevsky said.

Delaware was not the only college team interested in Krevsky. Army West Point, Bucknell University, Towson University and Drexel all had their eyes on CV’s varsity midfielder.

Krevsky is a multiple sport athlete, with basketball coming close in second to lacrosse. Inspired by his father, Krevsky also got into basketball at a young age. He ended a successful junior season with a total of 160 points and 83 rebounds.

“During my off season in the fall, the basketball coach brings in a personal trainer into the weight room to put in as much work as I can. I work out as much as I can to be better for lacrosse,” Krevsky said.

For this upcoming lacrosse season, Krevsky wants to make at least 70 goals and make it into the Mid Penn Conference and District Championships.

Staying optimistic, Krevsky said, “One goal of mine is to win District 3 because we came in second place in districts my freshman year. It’s going to be tough but I know we can do it.”
