These four seniors have accomplished a lot during their time on the CV Softball team. After a big season last year, the lady eagles have big expectations going into this season. The District Champs and PIAA semi-finalists know that this season is a new start, however these four are still shooting for the same goal. Here is a chance to meet the leaders of the team and get to know them a little better.

The first senior up is Ady Machemer. Ady has been playing since she was seven. After High School, Machemer will attend the University of Tampa to major in international business and marketing. Machemer said, “My goal this year is to focus on creating a close group and having eachothers backs no matter what.”

Ady’s favorite CV softball memory was when she was throwing a girl out during a crucial moment while playing Garnet Valley in state quarterfinals.

The second senior captain is Maddie Martin. Martin plays shortstop and has been playing since she was seven. Maddie is going to Le Moyne College to major in forensic science and play softball. Martin said, “My goal this year is to lead the team to play as one unit. Obviously winning is the goal, but showing underclassmen how to play together is important.” Maddie’s favorite CV softball memory was hitting a walk off home run against Chambersburg.

The third senior captain is Emma Morgan. Emma plays second base and has been playing since she was seven. She will be going to play softball at Rider University and major in exercise science. Then she will go on to getting her doctorate in physical therapy. Morgan said, "My goal for this year is to get farther than we did last year while creating a great team environment. We were a really close team last year and I believe that got us really far so being able to do that again would be amazing. Emma’s favorite CV softball memory is winning Districts. She said,  "I went into high school with that goal, so being able to accomplish it was really a good feeling.”

The fourth senior captain is Graysen Trybulski. She plays outfield and has been playing since she was five years old. Graysen is going to Susquehanna University to major in business administration and minor in sports media, and she will also be playing softball there. Trybulski said, “My goals for this year are to continue to have a strong, well- bonded team and carry on the family aspect. I want to set a good example for the underclassmen to continue the team mentality.” She also wants to reach the State Finals. Graysen’s favorite CV softball memory is winning Districts against CD and celebrating with her team in the creek, the fire truck escort, and getting Rita's after.
