February celebrates Black history, an important way to honor African Americans and highlight historical achievements of the African American culture. 

One way to celebrate Black History Month is to read books and watch films whose subjects and subject matter is focused on the African American experience and culutre.

Here is list of titles CV students should read and view not just in February, but any time because, "Black history is American history."
