Senior Isabella Zuccaroli exemplifies a student who has taken advantage of the many opportunities CV has to offer. She is the president of CV Africa Club, a member of the varsity lacrosse team, an active member on the communications committee for CV Mini-THON, as well as a member of NHS and NWLHS. She is a role model and sets a great example for students who want to succeed with a rigorous academic course load.

Zuccoroli is well-known for her achievements in academics. She scored in the top 3% in the state for her ACT, and she received a nomination for the National Merit Scholarship.

Zuccaroli’s main extracurricular is CV Africa Club. She has made major improvements in the club since being elected, including growing it to nearly nine times its original size.

“I have grown the club from 15 to 128 members and really want to promote social justice. The glasses drive has been a huge success and I hope it continues after I graduate,” Zuccaroli said.

Zuccaroli’s passion for CV Africa stems from her interest in social justice.

“For me service and social justice is what joins people together. Working to help each other and for equality builds character and community,” Zuccaroli said.

Zuccaroli wants to continue helping the less fortunate in the future as a part of her career path.

“I would like to become a cardio-thoracic surgeon who works with Doctors Without Borders which is a program that travels to impoverished areas and provides medical treatment. I’m still making my decision on which college to attend,” Zuccaroli said.
