CV Cheer 10x District 3 Consecutive Win

Central Dauphin East hosted the District III competitive spirit competition Saturday the 7th, and the CV Varsity cheerleaders outscored Conrad Weiser in the Large Varsity division to win its 10th consecutive district championship.
"I was really confident because my stunt group had great practices all week, and I knew that we were going to hit today, so I was just ready to go," Senior Hayley Clark said."Whenever I get on the mat, the adrenaline takes over and sometimes I don't even remember what happened, but I know that I hit a good routine. We have to keep improving our technique and difficulty until we can hit it as a team, and then we will be ready for states."
This win gives the cheerleaders the chance to compete at PIAA States which is held in the Giant Center on January 10th and 11th.
"Personally I wasn't nervous at all. This is my third year going to districts and I wasn't worried about the competition, I was only worried about myself and my team," Senior Nicole Pautler said. "This performance was very empowering and the second we walked out onto the mat, the adrenaline hit and it was game over for the other team."
The girls are now getting ready for States and Nationals, which are both coming up in the next two months.
